Mary L. Volcansek

Volcansek is the
author of five books
and four edited
volumes, and more
than 30 articles and
book chapters. At
FIU, she founded its
summer study abroad
program at Cambridge
University and
taught in the Florida State University Center in Florence, Italy.
She currently also serves as the Executive Director of the Center For Texas Studies (www.texasstudies.org).
