Related Information

Students intending to do graduate work in the social sciences or business are strongly encouraged to take this degree program. It is also recommended for students interested in employment in government or politics.

No courses applied toward any political science major may be taken P/NC.

All courses applied toward any political science major must be completed with a grade of C or better.

A maximum of 12 hours of courses below the 30000-level may be counted toward the political science B.S. degree.

Any 30000-level "topics" line numbers may be repeated so long as the specific subject matter changes.

No more than six hours of internship credit may be counted toward the political science B.S. degree.

The three-hour seminar generally taken in conjunction with the Washington Center internship semester may be counted in addition to six hours of internship.

A minor is required; any minor approved for the B.S. degree is acceptable.

 

Academic credit is not awarded for both POSC 20123 and 20144.
